The proud Princess Krasomila lives in isolation and her advisors plan to marry her off to a weakling; King Miroslav disguises himself as a gardener to cure his pride; they flee from the advisors’ fury; she discovers his identity; they marry, the advisors are expelled. The main animation team consisted of Czechs, but animators from Spain, Poland, Mexico, Slovakia, France, Venezuela, India and Ukraine also contributed in various ways. Remake of The Proud Princess (1952).
